Privacy policy

Last updated: 6 November 2026

Easy-Data attaches great importance to protecting your data. This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit this website or contact us, for what purpose, and what your rights are. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, on the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

easy-data Sàrl
Rue de Veyrier 19, 1227 Carouge (GE), Switzerland
Email: contact@easy-data.ch

For any question about your data, please write to us at this address.

2. Data we process

  • Contact and audit request forms: your name, email address, phone number (optional) and message. We use them only to respond to your request and, where appropriate, to prepare a quote or a service. They are sent to us by email.
  • Contact by phone or email: the information you give us, in order to handle your request.
  • Technical data: on each visit, the server automatically records certain technical data (IP address, date and time, page viewed, browser, operating system). This is used to keep the website secure and working properly.
  • Audience measurement: anonymised visit statistics, described in section 4.

3. Data processed as part of our services

When we work on your IT (maintenance, remote assistance, hosting, backup, device management), we may have access to data for which your company is responsible. We process it only to provide our services, according to your instructions and our contract, and we are bound by confidentiality.

4. Third-party services used on this website

  • Hosting: this website is hosted in Switzerland by Infomaniak Network SA, in Geneva.
  • Google Analytics 4 (Google): we measure how the website is used, statistically (pages viewed, length of visit, origin, device type), in order to improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies and does not store full IP addresses. Data is kept for a maximum of 14 months. You can refuse this measurement by blocking cookies in your browser or with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Google Maps: the Contact and Audit pages display a Google Maps map. When it loads, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which may record your IP address and set cookies.
  • Google Fonts: the website’s fonts are loaded from Google’s servers; your IP address is therefore sent to them.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare): this service protects our forms against bots. It analyses technical data from your browser (IP address, device characteristics), without advertising cookies.

5. Cookies

This website uses the Google Analytics and Google Maps cookies described above. You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings; some features of the website, such as the map, may then no longer be displayed.

6. Recipients and transfers abroad

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers mentioned above, to the extent necessary. Google and Cloudflare may process data in the United States or other countries. These transfers are based on the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which these companies are certified, or on standard contractual clauses recognised by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

7. Retention period

We keep your data for as long as necessary to handle your request and for any business relationship that may follow, then for the period required by law (for example 10 years for accounting records). Data that is no longer needed is deleted.

8. Security

We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connection (HTTPS), access limited to those who need it, regular backups and updates.

9. Your rights

You can request access to your data, its correction or deletion, object to its processing or ask for it to be provided in a common format, within the limits set by law. Write to us at contact@easy-data.ch; we may ask you to prove your identity.

You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (www.edoeb.admin.ch) or, if you live in the European Union, the data protection authority in your country.

10. Changes

We may update this policy at any time. The version published on this website is authoritative. This English version is a translation; in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
